Oxygen Forensic® Detective v.8.4.1 released

Oxygen Forensics releases an update to its flagship forensic software, Oxygen Forensic® Detective. The new version enables WhatsApp data extraction from iCloud Drive. This feature gives access to all the messages and their attachments stored in the iCloud. The updated version also offers an acquisition of email conversations from any Email server that uses IMAP protocol, like AOL, Google, Yahoo, etc. Version 8.4.1 adds decoding of WhatsApp messages backup encrypted with the latest crypt 9 and crypt 10 algorithms in Android OS devices.

New in Oxygen Forensic® Detective v.8.4.1:

  • Oxygen Forensic® Cloud Extractor. Added the ability to acquire WhatsApp data from iCloud Drive. Forensic experts can use credentials or token extracted from a mobile device to gain access to all WhatsApp messages and their attachments in the iCloud.
  • Oxygen Forensic® Cloud Extractor. Added the ability to extract email conversations from any Email server that uses IMAP protocol. Forensic experts can now extract login information for email accounts from mobile devices and utilize it to acquire additional evidence from any Email server, like AOL, Google, Yahoo, Yandex, etc.
  • Oxygen Forensic® Maps. Added the ability to view geo point information on the left sidebar.
  • Oxygen Forensic® Maps. Added a new Photo Viewer.
  • Applications. Messengers. Added parsing of WhatsApp (2.16.16, 2.16.84) messages backup encrypted with crypt 9 and crypt 10 algorithms in Android OS devices.
  • Applications. Social Networks. Updated data parsing from Kate Mobile (30.1) from Android OS devices.
  • Applications. Social Networks. Updated data parsing from Snapchat (9.30) from iOS devices and  Snapchat (9.29.3) from Android OS devices.
