Plans are good — but practice is everything
Lately many cyber attacks have taken place and not only. Many companies have thought about their safety. A new report from the IBM Business Value Institute (IBV) highlights the importance of conducting a crisis response simulation for senior management.
Some experts argue that crisis management needs to be practiced so that people are clear about their responsibilities and who the decision-makers are. Practice, while not necessarily reflective of the future situations, the team may, can, ensure, the organization can work on creating an environment that supports quick decision-making during the crisis and clear communication with both internal and external stakeholders.
