Cellebrite helps FBI to break terrorist’s iPhone

U.S. officials on Thursday said they are hopeful that they will be able to unlock the iPhone without help from Apple.

According to “Yedioth Ahronoth”, an Israeli mobile forensic software company, Cellebrite, is trying to help the FBI to extract data from the iPhone 5c used by San Bernardino shooter Syed Farook.

If the firm succeeds the FBI will be able to drop requests for help from Apple, reported the newspaper.
