UFED 5.0.2 maintenance release

Cellebrite has just announced a maintenance version of UFED Physical Analyzer and UFED Logical Analyzer 5.0.2.

What is new:

  • UFED Physical Analyzer is be able to decrypt WhatsApp’s new backup database (crypt9).
  • Fix a crash failure when decoding large quantities of chat messages has been resolved.
  • Fix an issue with generating large PDF reports has been resolved.
  • Fix an issue with the total number of records presented in the Extraction Summary window has been resolved, presenting the accurate numbers.
  • Fix an issue with translating from Hebrew and Turkish languages.
  • Fix an issue with inaccurate results during the re-decoding process.
