Researchers at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology believe that there are several vectors of leakage when using the “private” or “incognito” mode on standard browsers.

Of course, there are many sites that are either indifferent or hostile to the privacy of users. The framework called “Veil” was presented at the Symposium on Security of Networks and Distributed Systems. This puts on onus on operators to stop the leaks.
