History of iPhone Jailbreaking

by Igor Mikhaylov2017-06-30

The world of technology does not stand still and everything is developing very rapidly. At the same time, there are a lot of talented young people around the world who are working with the new technologies.

Luca Todesco, a 20-year-old who can be the best iPhone hacker on the planet. He has the art of hacking the ultra-safe iOS operating system from Apple and unlocking it. To jailbreak an iPhone means exploiting one or more bug to disable a security mechanism called code-signing enforcement. And users themselves have stopped demanding jailbreaks, because Apple simply took jailbreakers’ best ideas and implemented them into iOS.
When the iPhone 7 was released, Todesco found a way to jailbreak a new version in minutes. Do it not just because the OS is one of, if not the safest and hardest for hacking the operating system in the world.

Years after the iPhone Dev Team gathered in IRC chat rooms, the public jailbreaks and YouTube shenanigans have slowly become a distant memory. One of the reasons was that the iPhone, in part because of jailbreakers, became harder to crack or highly skilled hackers began to get jobs, both in Apple and in private security companies.

You can read in the article for more information about hackers and jailbreakers.
