Did the iPhone take the picture?

On iOS devices, pictures found in the DCIM folder can include photos that have been taken by the device, pictures saved by the device (from the Internet, email, or Messages app), and/or screenshots taken by the device. But with iOS 7 Apple introduced AirDrop to iOS devices, allowing files to be sent from one iOS device (or now OS X device) to another iOS device. So what happens when someone AirDrops a picture to an iOS device?

For this scenario we’ll select a photo using Josh’s iPhone and tap the share icon in the Photos app, then select another iOS device that is nearby and has AirDrop turned on. In this instance we’re sharing with Taz.
